Common Mistakes to Avoid During REAP 2027 Registration

Critical precautions to ensure your registration is error-free and your candidature is not rejected during physical verification.

Caution 1

Name & DOB Mismatch

Entering candidate or parental names differently from the Class 10th Secondary Board Certificate. Discrepancies cause rejection during college reporting.

Remedy: Enter data exactly matching your 10th mark sheet word-for-word.
Caution 2

Wrong Priority Selection

Candidates with a valid JEE Main 2027 rank mistakenly applying under Priority 2 (12th Board PCM) lose the top priority advantage during seat allotment.

Remedy: Always choose Priority 1 if you appeared for JEE Main 2027.
Caution 3

Outdated Category Certificates

Uploading expired OBC-NCL or MBC-NCL certificates without the required valid declaration leads to automatic reclassification into General (Unreserved).

Remedy: Ensure digital certificates comply with the Rajasthan DoP validity timeline.
Caution 4

Insufficient Choices Filled

Filling only 2 or 3 college-branch choices based on high expectations. If cutoff ranks rise, the candidate ends up with no seat allotment.

Remedy: Fill 30 to 50+ choices in true preference order to maximize allotment chances.
Caution 5

Skipping Physical Reporting

Believing that online seat allotment alone confirms admission. Failing to report in-person at the allotted institute results in immediate cancellation of candidature.

Remedy: Report in person within the deadline with original documents and fees.
Caution 6

Missing TFWS Income Format-D

Opting for TFWS tuition waiver without obtaining the statutory Format-D income certificate signed by an authorized Tehsildar.

Remedy: Get the Format-D income certificate certified by your local Tehsil before reporting.

Frequently Asked Questions (Registration FAQs)

Clear answers to common questions regarding REAP 2027 registration fee, eligibility, choice filling, and seat allotment.

The online registration and centralized counselling fee is ₹885/- (Non-Refundable). Candidates can make payment online via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), or through authorized e-Mitra Kiosks across Rajasthan. Under no circumstances is this fee refundable.

Yes. 15% of the total seats in government-aided and private engineering institutions in Rajasthan are reserved for Outside Rajasthan (OR) candidates. They are allotted seats based on their JEE Main 2027 All India CRL Rank under the All India / OR quota.

Seats are allotted strictly by merit hierarchy: First, seats are allotted to Priority 1 candidates (possessing a valid JEE Main 2027 rank). Any vacant seats remaining thereafter are allotted to Priority 2 candidates (Class 12th Science PCM percentile). Any seats still remaining vacant are allotted to Priority 3 candidates (3-Year Diploma in Engineering holders).

Under AICTE norms, TFWS offers 100% waiver of tuition fees under supernumerary 5% seats. Candidates whose total parental annual income from all sources is less than ₹8.00 Lakhs are eligible. They must upload an authorized Income Certificate (Format-D) signed by a Tehsildar / SDO during registration.

Yes, CEG Rajasthan provides an official 48-hour Objection & Correction Window after publishing the provisional merit list. Candidates can log into the candidate portal to request corrections with supporting proof before the final merit list is generated.

No, JEE Main is not mandatory for Rajasthan state candidates. If you have not appeared for JEE Main, you can register under Priority 2 on the basis of your Class 12th Science PCM aggregate percentage (minimum 45% for General, 40% for reserved category). However, for top branches in premier colleges like MBM, CTAE, and RTU, Priority 1 (JEE Main) candidates receive first preference.

Upward Movement is a centralized feature that allows candidates who have reported in-person at their allotted institute to be considered for a higher-preference college or branch in subsequent allotment rounds if vacancies arise. If upgraded, the earlier allotted seat is automatically vacated and transferred to the higher preference.

Candidates can use the "Forgot Form Number / Password" link on the official portal. Enter your registered mobile number, email address, candidate name, and mother's name to receive a password reset token via SMS and email.
