REAP 2027 Merit List & Official Cutoff Benchmarks

Understanding the 3-tier admission priority hierarchy, JEE Main percentile-to-rank conversions, and expected cutoffs for premier Rajasthan engineering colleges.

REAP 2027 Admission & Merit Priority Order:
Priority 1: JEE Main 2027 Rank > Priority 2: 12th Marks

REAP does not conduct an independent entrance examination. Seats are allotted strictly based on merit: First preference is given to candidates with valid JEE Main 2027 ranks. If seats remain vacant, candidates are allotted based on Class 12th Science (PCM) percentile, followed by Diploma in Engineering percentage. Separate category-wise merit lists (General, SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS) are released by CEG Rajasthan.

Expected Cutoffs & Safe JEE Main Ranks for Top Govt Colleges (CSE Branch)

Official historical cutoffs and closing trends for Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in top Rajasthan institutions for General Category candidates:

College Name Expected Percentile (General) Safe JEE Main Rank Range Status / Affiliation
MBM University, Jodhpur 92 – 96% 50,000 – 90,000 State Technical University (Premier)
CTAE (College of Technology & Engg.), Udaipur 88 – 93% 80,000 – 1,20,000 Constituent College of MPUAT
University Departments, RTU Kota 85 – 90% 1,00,000 – 1,50,000 RTU Main Campus Kota
Engineering College, Bikaner (ECB) 80 – 85% 1,50,000 – 2,00,000 Autonomous Govt. Engineering College
Engineering College, Ajmer (ECA) 78 – 84% 1,60,000 – 2,20,000 Autonomous Govt. Engineering College

*Note: Cutoffs for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/MBC/EWS) are typically 5–15 percentile lower depending on the branch and category matrix. Outside Rajasthan (OR) candidates are considered under General category, resulting in higher cutoff thresholds.

JEE Main Percentile vs REAP State Rank Projections

Estimated REAP General Merit state ranks corresponding to JEE Main percentile brackets:

JEE Main Percentile Approx. Score (/300) Est. REAP State Rank Top College & Branch Feasibility
94.0 and Above 180 – 300 Rank 1 – 600 MBM University Jodhpur (CSE / AI & DS), CTAE Udaipur (CSE)
88.0 – 93.9 140 – 179 Rank 601 – 2,200 CTAE Udaipur (CSE/ECE), RTU Kota (CSE), MBM Jodhpur (IT/ECE)

Spot Guidelines: Open for all eligible registered/unregistered candidates as per AICTE and CEG guidelines directly at college campus.

REAP 2027 Choice Filling & Locking Protocol

Choice filling is the most crucial determinant of your college allotment. Follow these official guidelines from CEG Rajasthan:

  • Fill Maximum Options: There is no limit on the number of choices. Enter dream colleges first, practical choices second, and safe colleges at the bottom to avoid non-allotment.
  • Frequent Saving: Save your preference list frequently during your session to avoid timeout or accidental data loss.
  • Choice Locking: Lock your options only when completely satisfied. You will be prompted for password or OTP authentication to confirm locking.
  • System Auto-Lock: If choices are saved but not manually locked by the deadline, the REAP server will automatically lock saved choices. However, never leave it to the last moment.
  • Unlock Window: If CEG announces a grievance/unlock window, candidates can submit an unlock request to rearrange choices before the allotment run.

REAP 2027 — Frequently Asked Questions

Authoritative answers on REAP 2027 eligibility, application fee, seat allotment logic, upward movement, cutoffs, and reservations.

REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) 2027 is the centralized online counselling process for admission to B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch undergraduate programs in government and private engineering colleges in Rajasthan. It is organized by the Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG), Rajasthan, under the Department of Technical Education, Government of Rajasthan. No separate entrance exam is held; admissions are based on JEE Main ranks, Class 12th Board marks, and Diploma marks.

The online registration and counselling fee is ₹885/- (Non-Refundable). It can be paid online via Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI through the official REAP candidate portal. Registration is confirmed only upon successful payment of this fee.

No, the counselling process is combined. However, seat allotment strictly follows a 3-tier priority order:
• Priority 1: Candidates with a valid JEE Main 2027 Rank.
• Priority 2: Candidates with Class 12th Science (PCM) Percentile.
• Priority 3: Candidates with a recognized Diploma in Engineering & Technology percentage.
Priority 1 candidates get first preference in seat allotment; if seats remain vacant, Priority 2 and 3 candidates are allotted seats.

Yes. 15% of total seats in Rajasthan engineering colleges are reserved for Outside Rajasthan (OR) candidates. These seats are allotted in Round 1 based on JEE Main 2027 Rank. Outside Rajasthan candidates are treated as General / Unreserved category candidates regardless of their caste status in their home states.

Yes, physical reporting is strictly mandatory. To be eligible for Upward Movement, you must physically report to your allotted institute within the specified deadline, submit your documents, and deposit the required college admission fee. After reporting, you can submit your consent for Upward Movement online.
• If upgraded: You are shifted to a higher preference college/branch. Your previously allotted seat is automatically cancelled and offered to another candidate.
• If not upgraded: Your original seat is retained safely.

If you fail to report to the allotted institute in person with original documents, 2 sets of self-attested photocopies, and the college fee before the last date, your allotted seat will be permanently cancelled and you will lose claim on that seat for future rounds.

For Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) in the General category:
• MBM University, Jodhpur: 92–96 percentile (Safe JEE Rank: 50,000–90,000)
• CTAE, Udaipur: 88–93 percentile (Safe JEE Rank: 80,000–1,20,000)
• University Departments, RTU Kota: 85–90 percentile (Safe JEE Rank: 1,00,000–1,50,000)
• Govt EC Bikaner & Ajmer: 78–85 percentile (Safe JEE Rank: 1,50,000–2,20,000). Cutoffs for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) are typically 5–15 percentile lower.

The TFWS scheme provides 5% supernumerary seats in all AICTE-approved engineering institutions across Rajasthan. Eligible candidates pay zero tuition fees for all 4 years of their B.Tech program. To be eligible, the total annual parental income from all sources must be less than ₹8.00 Lakhs, and candidates must upload a valid income certificate from an authorized revenue officer (Tehsildar) during REAP registration.

No, once choices are locked with password/OTP verification, they cannot be modified. However, if CEG provides an official "Unlock Window" before seat allotment processing, candidates may log in to request unlocking and edit their preferences. If you save your choices but forget to lock them, the REAP server will automatically lock the saved choices at the deadline.
